งานวิจัยหรืองานที่สนใจ:
We are interested in two major research fields: 1) infection biology of all sort of parasites, and 2) applications of genomics and other -omics to biological problems.

Our currently work is at an intersect of the two; we are focusing on parasitic worms, and we use genomic and transcriptomic approaches to guide functional characterisation of genes and to investigate molecular mechanisms that underly survival of the hosts and the parasites. In essence, better understanding of the infection biology could contribute to disease intervention, and the knowledge on molecular interactions could be applied to other biomedical areas beyond parasitology.

*Students who are interested in working with me doesn't need to have excellent English skills (don't let this page put you off) but they need to be open, willing to learn new things, and to have keen enthusiasm in science. ;-)
